Voltij in rare strong lift at Ellwood Mesa

About once or twice a year, we get strong wind straight-in to the bluff at Ellwood Mesa. Today was one of those days, averaging 22-27mph all day, and I came prepared for it with my Aeromod Voltij. I’ve had this Voltij almost a decade, and it’s still one of my favorite planes… smooth, predictable and just a joy to fly. It was a real treat to have it out at Ellwood!
